Of crocodiles, bags, earrings and environment

Sometimes my F thinking would always put me in nuisance mind. I can always hear a friend yelling, ‘Jesus Christ can we just accessorize, adorn our body without thinking of our eco-obligation?’, I thought so sometimes, but I can’t helped it, when these girl friends of mine visited me the last time and brought me this;

Obviously it’s an oversized blue feathered earring, we need it for an event at school and I was thankful they really hit the right note, perfect for my blue native attire. But on the sidelight, been uncomfortable with the thought that, gosh, I’ve been teaching eco-feminism and here comes one women killing creatures vital to mother nature just to pull out the feathers and flair her ear, I can’t take this. Though my friend would always tell me, ‘come-on they’re faux ones, just slip it on and we’re going to be late.’

Haaah, it’s not the idea that they are fake neither the idea that they’re made out of synthetic materials; it’s the practice that made me so damn responsible. I mean how many animals were butchered just to accommodate women’s culture of body adornment? How many crocodiles were killed just to let women scale the pedestal carrying such pricey and luxurious bags, shoes etc.

Seriously, this is one discourse in our society that I don’t know who to throw blame into anymore, myself?  who for one been a consumer of all these stuff – and how can they design such stuff so prettily that it looks so dang irresistible, hahaha, the corporations who just think about nothing else but profit, or Hermes and the gang that did nothing but build up a name so expensive and posh – that at one point thought about selling my MIL in exchange of a Birkin, lol. [just joking].

Anyway, just sharing some random thoughts running my cerebrum here fellas, Howdy? Have a great day!
